Hi, my name is Sophie and I am happy to welcome you in my art space.

I am a visual artist, working primarily in watercolor and mixed-media art.

​I have over 18 years of professional experience in the arts, but my passion for art goes much deeper. I have been painting since I was a kid. 

I have been painting and creating art since I was a kid. I also attended art school. I enrolled in Chemical science high school because I wanted to be a scientist, but my heart was always dragged towards the arts, and I really missed it. I realized that I wanted to do what I actually love—art. I switched to studying fine arts, focused on Asian art studies, Japanese culture and arts, where I also learned Japanese calligraphy.
After university, I worked as an artist in a glass studio and designed wall art in a hotel. After I had my daughter, I opened my home studio and started working with international architects and designers on art projects. 

I am a huge fan of Japanese culture and literature, love nature, gardening and I really love animals, I own a cat and lizard.
