Since early childhood, I have carried a recurring dream of a world that is entirely blue. The ground, the water and the sky are all one deep, endless blue, while the trees and rocks glow with vivid neon colors, as if they were made of crystal and lit from within.

Blue Energy is the first painting from this world, and the first in my new series. I return to my favorite subject, the tree, but now I see it through the vision of my dreams. Its twisting trunk burns with coral, rose, orange and gold, and its branches stretch like glowing veins of light across the deep ultramarine.

I usually paint quickly, but this painting asked for time. I began it in July and finished it only in October. Looking back, I understand why: this was not only a painting process but a transformation, and every transformation takes its own time.

For years, other parts of me held the brush. There was the responsible adult. There was the teenager who had to grow up fast, caring for her little sister while her parents worked. With this painting, I finally let the little girl inside me paint what she has always dreamed of. I feel a freedom to be myself that I haven't felt in a very long time.

For me, Blue Energy is about creative energy and the energy of life itself. It is a reminder that inspiration is always close, waiting to be found in every ordinary day.
