"Unfinished Cat" - Original watercolor painting

Painted during a long, stressful airport delay — when one flight was canceled, another was in limbo, and we were stuck waiting in Minneapolis with too many bags and not enough answers.

I saw a ginger cat outside the window and started painting, trying to calm my nerves through the familiar rhythm of brush and water.

Then suddenly — new flight, urgent rush, everything packed. The cat was left half-painted.

But somehow, it felt complete. Like a ghost of that moment — nervous, dreamy, full of personality, and not entirely grounded.

So I never touched it again. Unfinished Cat became a memory, frozen in watercolor.
